The ONEIH-Kola Balogun Technology Center (O-KBTC) is set to begin its much-anticipated operations with the installation of state-of-the-art equipment and a hands-on training session focused on the fabrication of double-sided printed circuit boards (PCBs), also known as motherboards.
This milestone event will take place from August 12 to August 16, 2024.
These sessions are aimed at individuals with backgrounds in engineering, science, and practical electronics. Interested participants are encouraged to apply via the following link: https://bit.ly/3vjTN6v
The launch of these activities represents a significant leap forward in the center’s mission to drive technological innovation and industrial development.
By leveraging advanced PCB technologies, the region is positioning itself as a formidable contender in the global PCB industry.
This endeavor is expected to open up new avenues for technological growth, not only within the region but also on a global scale.
It would be recalled that the ONEIH-Kola Balogun Technology Center was officially commissioned on December 28, 2023, as West Africa’s pioneering facility exclusively dedicated to drone design, assembly, manufacturing, repair, and maintenance.
In addition to its focus on drone technology, the center also specializes in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
The upcoming launch week will not only mark the beginning of the center’s operational phase but also underscore its role as a hub for cutting-edge technology in the region, paving the way for future innovations and collaborations in the tech industry.
