The Jimoh Kolawole Yussuf (JKY) Foundation successfully concluded a transformative, month-long training programme at One Innovation Hub, Offa.

The programme, held from November 4 to November 28, equipped 25 participants with critical digital skills across various tech disciplines.

This initiative reinforced the Foundation’s commitment to empowering the youth of Offa and its environs, aligning with its mission to promote development in Infrastructure, Sports, and Education (ISE)—the core areas of focus inspired by the late Alhaji Jimoh Kolawole Yussuf (JK).

The Foundation, established in 2019 by his children, honours his legacy of community service and passion for progress.

Participants were enrolled in four key areas:

Data Analysis: Raji Kabir, Olawale, and Ibrahim Aishat Folake.
UI/UX Design: Animashaun Elizabeth Olamide, Olatunji Olatundun Rosemary, and Obafemi Segun Adebayo.
Digital Literacy: Bello Fatimah Titilayo, Jimoh Sofiat Oriyomi, Jimoh Damilola Shukroh, Musa Mariam Opeyemi, Abdulrauf Toibat Ayomide, Kolawole Rahman Mustapha, Mudashir Murjainat Opeyemi, and Aroyehun Sekinat Bola.
Web Development: Adegboyega Mariam Kehinde, Adeyemi Moranugba Temidayo, Adegboyega Rofiat Taiwo, Abdulganiyu Mubarak Kehinde, Yusuf Yusuf Damilola, Olanrewaju Oyetunji Muhammed, Yusuf Amidat Aderonke, Atitebi Jemeelat Omowumi, Yusuf Mariam Bisade, Kamorudeen Adeniyi, Olatunde Muhammad, and Omojasola Azeezah Damilola.

Five participants showcased impressive projects, demonstrating their mastery of the skills learned.

The program concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony. The certificates were handed over by: Mr. Muyiwa Yusuf, Abdullahi Yusuf, Chairman of AbraySports Football Club, and Hon. Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yusuf, a Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Eesa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency.

The JKY Foundation is a non-profit organization headquartered at No. 1 Igbonna Road, Offa, Kwara State. It was established in memory of the late Alhaji Jimoh Kolawole Yussuf, who passed away on May 11, 2020.

The Foundation continues to uphold his legacy through impactful projects, including borehole installations at the Central Mosque Offa, Akorede Mosque, and the ongoing project at Ogidiri Primary School—one of Alhaji JK’s alma maters.

The Foundation remains committed to addressing community needs, with plans to deepen engagement in Offa and expand its impact in infrastructure, sports, and education.
