This upcoming session follows the successful “Train-the-Trainer” programme held at the O-KBTC from August 26 to 31, 2024. The programme attracted a diverse group of lecturers, technologists, and students from ten institutions, reflecting the growing interest in advanced technological education within the region.
The O-KBTC, commissioned on December 28, 2023, has quickly established itself as a pioneering facility in West Africa.
It is the first of its kind in the region dedicated exclusively to drone design, assembly, manufacturing, repairs, and maintenance. Additionally, the center is a hub for PCB manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), further positioning it as a critical player in advancing technology and innovation in West Africa.
