Yesterday, Thursday, July 11, 2024, students from Bint’s Salam Academy in Offa embarked on an educational excursion to our facilities – One Innovation Hub (ONEIH) and ONEIH-Kola Balogun Technology Center (OKBTC).

This visit aligns with the Academy’s vision to integrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) into their academic curriculum.

The excursion was led by the Academy’s Proprietress, Mrs. Sulfat Lawal, who was accompanied by Mr. Gafar G.O and Mrs. Ismail, both of whom are students at the Academy.

During the visit, Mrs. Lawal engaged with the ONEIH team to explore potential collaborations, particularly focusing on how the Academy could be incorporated into ONEIH’s ongoing STEM Programme, which currently includes five other schools.

In addition to discussing the STEM Programme, the ONEIH team took the opportunity to introduce their upcoming Kids’ Koding Klub Programme to the Academy’s management.

This initiative aims to foster coding skills and technological literacy among young students, further supporting the Academy’s commitment to STEM education.

The visit was a significant step towards enhancing the educational experience of Bint’s Salam Academy students, providing them with exposure to advanced technological resources and innovative learning opportunities.
